Happy MLK Day ;]. Empowering Youth Everywhere, & Open Your Eyes went to the rally @ Garfield today and marched all the way in downtown. Spring on 2nd ave. Or is it the other way around? haah i don't remember. But yea, it was a dope experience, different people, together to celebrate the day of a great leader. Dr. King deserves a big thanks for bringing all of us together, & to help us realize that we're all equal. If it wasn't for him, or any other person who didn't care about the color of our skin or what not, then we wouldn't be able to be in such diverse schools, programs, and etc... We may make racial slurs today, stereo types and what not. How ignorant we can be at times, & I admit that I can be racist, and make rude remarks. But it's another thing that most people need to watch on. Then again, somethings will never change. But our nation has been improving, but here & there you know someone predigest is around.. unfortunately .
